Northern Coalfields Limited, Singrauli, is recruiting 1601 persons fro the posts of “Technician (Trainee)” in trades of – Fitter, Electrician, Machinist, Turner, Welder, Auto Electrician, Motor Mechanic & Diesel, “Junior Overman T&S Grade C”, “Assistant Foreman”, “Staff Nurse”, “Assistant Security Sub Inspector” and “Security Guard, Grade.G”. Matriculation candidates with ITI, Higher Secondary candidates and Ex-Serviceman may apply. Eligibility and other criteria is given below—

Qualification required for above posts (Sl.No. 1 to 8): Madhyamik (class-10) pass with ITI in respective trade. Candidates must have completed Apprenticeship Training.

9. Junior Overman T&S Grade-C: 4 Nos. (SC—1; ST—3)
Qualification: 3yrs of Diploma in Mining Engineering and must have valid Gas Testing, First Aid and Overman Certificate of competency.

10. Assistant Foreman (Trainee), Mechanical: 1 Nos. (SC)
Qualification: 3 years of Diploma in Mechanical branch.

11. Staff Nurse T&S Grade—C: 1 Nos. (ST)
Qualification: Higher Secondary (10+2) with Grade-A Nursing Diploma or Certificate.

12. Assistant Security Sub Inspector, Gr.D: 49 Nos. (Gen—26; SC—7; ST—9; OBC—7)
Qualification: Graduation and only Ex-Army/ Ex-BSF personnel or NCCB&C Certificate holder of Sportsperson of All India Repute are eligible.

13. Security Guard, Grade –G: 194 Nos. (Gen—98; SC—29; ST—38; OBC—29)
Qualification: Madhyamik and only Ex-Army/ Ex-BSF personnel or NCCB&C Certificate holder of Sportsperson of All India Repute are eligible.

Physical Standards for the Posts of Assistant Security Sub Inspector and Security Guard:
Height: 5.5 ft (5.3ft for SC/ST)
Chest (unexpanded/ expanded): 32/ 34cms (30/32 cms for SC/ST)
Age limit as on 31/5/2012: 38yrs for General; 41yrs for OBC and 43yrs for SC/ST candidates.

Age limits: minimum 18yrs and maximum 30yrs (from Sl.No.1 to 11) and for Sl.No.12 and 13—as per norms. Age will be counted as on 31/5/2012. Age relaxation for OBC—3yrs; SC/ST—5yrs and Others— as per norms.

Pay Scale:—

Candidates’ selection: Selection will be through Written Examination and Personal Interview/ Trade Test. Only qualified candidates from written test will be called for Interview/ Trade Test, as applicable. Date and venue will be intimated to the eligible candidates.

Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) is recruiting 995 male candidates for the post of “Constable/ Fire”. The posts were on temporary basis but likely to become permanent. Qualification required: Matriculation (Class-10) pass with Science from recognised board.

Age limit: between 18yrs to 23yrs as on 18/7/2012. Age relaxation for OBC—3yrs; SC/ST—5yrs and Other categories—as per norms.

Physical Standard: 
For General / OBC and SC candidates Height:170cms; Chest (unexpanded/ expanded): 80cms/ 85cms.
For ST candidates only Height:162.5 cms; Chest (unexpanded/ expanded): 76cms/ 81cms
Cut-off in Height and Chest for Candidates from Hill areas, Naxal/ Militant affected areas and Others is as per norms. Please refer the Advt. given below.
Weight (for all categories): proportionate to height and age.
Eye sight: 6/6 and 6/9 of two eyes in distant vision.
Candidates must not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein or squint in eyes, bow legs and etc which may hinder in performance of duty.

Selection steps: Candidates will be selected through — Height bar test, Physical Measurement test, Run, Written Examination and finally Medical Examination.
Run will of 5 KM which is to be completed within 24 minutes. Candidates who qualified in Runs will be only called for Written Examination.
The written examination for 100 marks will consist of 100 objective type multiple choice questions to be answered in 120 minutes and will be in following topics — general awareness/general knowledge, knowledge of elementary mathematics, analytical aptitude and ability to observe and distinguish patterns and to test the basic knowledge of the candidate in English/Hindi. The questions will be set both in Hindi and English.
Date and venue will be intimated to the shortlisted candidates through Call letters.

How to Apply: Application is to be made on prescribed format or can be typed neatly on plain paper as per format.
Application Fee: Candidates should pay Application fee of Rs.50 in form of Indian Postal Order only drawn in favour of the officer as per State/ UT. No application fee required for SC/ST and Ex-Serviceman candidates.

Application form should be enclosed with the following attachments—

  • Crossed IPO of Rs.50 (Not required for SC/ST and Ex-Serviceman)
  • One self-addressed envelope (8X9 cms) affixed with postal stamps of Rs.22
  • 3 Nos. passport size self-signed photographs. (one copy on Application form and others as enclosures)
  • Questionnaire as per Appendix–“B” duly filled in and signed by the candidate.

Qualification certificates and other essential documents will need to produce in original during recruitment process.

The envelope containing application form should be supersribed—“APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF CONSTABLE/FIRE”.

Last Date of Application: Application form should reach within 18th July 2012 (25th July 2012 for  candidates of North Eastern region).

Un-Skilled Labourer in Naval Dockyard, Visakhapatnam. Last Dt. 08/07/2012

Naval Dockyard, Visakhapatnam is recruiting 400 persons for the post of “Un Skilled labourer”. Madhyamik pass (Class 10 pass) candidates may apply for the post. Application is to be prepared as per format and then fill it with own handwriting. The application is to be reach within the prescribed date by Ordinary Post only. Qualification, Age and other eligibility criteria is given below—


1. Un-Skilled Labour: 400 Nos. (SC-60; ST-30; OBC-108; General-202)

Qualification: Madhyamik (Matriculation/ Class-10) pass from recognised board or equivalent.

Age limit: candidates should be between 18yrs to 25yrs as on last date of Application. Age relaxation—OBC-3yrs; SC/ST-5yrs; PH-10yrs and other candidates under relaxation—is as per norms.

Pay Scale: Rs.5200—Rs.20200 and Grade pay—Rs.1800

Physical Standard: Candidates should have sound health and free from any physical defects which may hinder in the performance of duty. There will be Physical Endurance Test.

Candidates’ Selection: Selection will be made through Physical Endurance Test and Written Test. Physical Endurance Test such as – Running, Long Jump, carrying weight of 50 kg and etc.
The candidates who will qualified in Physical Endurance Test will be only called for Written Examination. The venue and date will be intimated to the candidates through Call letters.

How to Apply: Prepare application on plain paper according to the prescribed format and then fill it with own handwriting.
Enclose Attested copies of documents, such as – Qualification certificate, Age proof, Caste certificate, experience certificate, if any and any other relevant documents in support of eligibility. All documents should be properly attested by Gazetted Officer.
Enclosed 3 copies of recent passport size photographs (One copy pasted on application form should be attested by Gazetted Officer and other 3 copies as enclosure with attestation).
